Responsibilities
Develop new devices and systems by conducting concept layout, performance modeling, materials and process selection, electronics integration, algorithm, and prototyping. Develop plans to mitigate development risks
Develop new systems concepts that leverage 3D chip stacking and integration technologies developed by the company
Conduct system analyses using spreadsheets or commercial software codes such as MATLAB and finite element modeling
Identify new technology opportunities, develop innovative solutions, prepare and submit white papers and briefing slides to potential technology funding sources
Provide technical support and guidance for various internal development activities including modeling, hardware design, and project management
Required Skills
Must have Masters Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics
Must have 4 years of advanced technology development experience, including at least 2 years in MEMS technologies
Must have experience in Office Programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; Proficiency in internet research must be self-driven, with excellent oral and written communications, and enjoy working in a competitive and multi-discipline team environment
Candidates must be able to qualify for security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
