Organize and develop a dedicated training/education business unit to deliver training and project support excellence to a client base
Develop revenue and contribution goals with leadership, manage unit P&L, and drive performance to meet or exceed established goals
Develop training course strategy to include current course offerings as well as innovative new offerings
Establish module-based and objective-based learning to the content and delivery of supply chain design learning
Enhance current learning content and develop new learning content for software products
Improve course delivery methods and develop innovative new delivery methods to meet customer needs and demand
Solicit feedback from trainees and course leaders to establish best practices for content format and overall learning experience
Help to bridge the gap between exciting, innovative products and those who use them for high value impact at their organizations
Get exposed to a wide range of industries and supply chain design needs
Make real contributions to solving global commercial and humanitarian logistics problems
Gain experience working with Fortune 500 companies, prominent consulting firms, humanitarian logistics agencies, and the Defense sector
Required Skills
Experience with and ability to create and manage a business plan to deliver world class software training, as well as to monetize and grow a training division within a fast-growing company
Experience developing learning content and the ability to update and develop presentation material for course learning
Experience delivering course material in a classroom setting and alternative training methods including computer based training, virtual classrooms, e-learning, etc.
Familiarity with or ability to quickly grasp modular-based and objective based learning approaches. Training will be provided in the form of hands-on, co-development of learning content from a third party. Training will also be provided for best practices in delivery of course learning.
Experience in or knowledge of supply chain design or planning (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical skills) is highly desirable
Masters degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management preferred. Bachelors degree or higher in education a plus
Ability to travel 50%
